Riley's Market Place was started in September, 2020 with a vision to offer West Michigan communities easy, no hassle and healthy meals to busy families during an unprecedented time of uncertainty and change. Riley sandwiches are individually wrapped and made with fresh bread and hand sliced meat. During a time when restaurants are closed and kids are home from school a little more often due to COVID, they can make meal time a little easier. You can buy extra at well, they freeze great for later! The menu continues to change as ideas evolve so check the menu before placing your next Riley's Market Place order.
Currently, Riley subs can be ordered online for pick up at the Holland Farmer's Market (see location for dates). Riley Subs can also be sold for fundraising! They are perfect for schools, church groups, and sports teams. Check out frandalefundraising.com regarding pricing for non-profit organizations. You can earn up to $2 per sub!
On June 19, 2016, Riley was killed in a boating accident on Lake Michigan at the age of sixteen. He had a kind heart and calm soul that knew the importance of loving on other people. He is my inspiration to help make this world a better place by spreading his kindness in my corner of the world, West Michigan.
Following the one year anniversary of his accident, Riley's aunt created a "Riley's Kindness" Facebook page. Small cards were handed out in businesses throughout our community to encourage people to do a random act of kindness and post their experiences on the Facebook page. I encourage you to check it. It will inspire you!
Through Riley's Market Place, I hope to encourage others to share Riley's Kindness by dropping off a Riley Meal Box for a family a need. Family's in need can come in all shapes and sizes from loss of a job or loved one, sickness, depression, etc.
May this encourage you to share a little kindness today.
See the menu for more details regarding Meal Boxes.
